Volunteer

Quincy Community Theatre is able to offer and perpetuate quality theatre entertainment and education BECAUSE of the participation of our volunteers. QCT offers numerous opportunities to volunteer time and talent to our efforts, both on stage and off, during a performance, in promotion of a production, and once the show has ended.
Volunteer Opportunities
Acting
Unless previously announced, all roles are open for casting. No previous theatre experience is necessary in order to participate at QCT. Upcoming opportunities to audition include:
STEEL MAGNOLIAS
Auditions | Jan 26-27
COME FROM AWAY
Auditions | Feb 2-3
For more information on these acting opportunities, please visit our audition page.
Front of House
Front of House volunteers play an important part in the experience our patrons have at QCT. You are the face of QCT and many times the only individual who has direct contact with our patrons. You are an ambassador of the theatre and shape our audiences’ expectations and response to the production.
Box Officers and Head Ushers should be 18+ years. Students as young as 12 may volunteer with a parent or guardian as an Usher or Scanner. Please wear smiles and clothes appropriate to the occasion. Shoes should be comfortable for walking and standing.
Box Office
Box Officers sell and print tickets and address seating issues as they arise. Prior training on QCT’s ticketing system is recommended.
