classes & Workshops

QCT’s education program, open to students of all ages, is dedicated to providing innovative arts education instruction, high-quality student production work, and mentorship opportunities for our community’s emerging theatre artists.
QCT’s friendly and expert staff instructors ensure the highest level of engagement and challenge for students at every skill level; whether you are a first-timer or a veteran performer, great arts education can inspire confidence, improve creative problem-solving, and exercise collaboration skills, unlike any other discipline.
Classes are typically offered in the spring (February-March), summer (June-July), and fall (October-November); special sessions, workshops, and/or masterclasses are programmed throughout the year on a rolling basis. No prior theatre experience is required unless specified in the class description. All classes and workshops, unless otherwise noted, will take place in the QCT Lab Theatre. Enter through the Stage Door on Kentucky Street.

SUMMER VOICE INTENSIVE I

FRACTURED FAIRY TALES: ONE ACT PLAY CLUB

Fairy tales… with a twist. In this playful performance camp, students will bring hilarious, reimagined versions of classic stories to life—think unexpected characters, silly surprises, and big laughs. PHYSICAL THEATRE 101

Say more—without saying a word. This dynamic class explores how the body can tell stories through movement, gesture, and expression. Drawing from a variety of physical theatre techniques, you’ll build awareness, confidence, and new tools for performance and communication. 2026 Triple Threat Boot Camp

Ready to take center stage? Triple Threat Boot Camp is THE ultimate high-energy musical theatre experience that will transform aspiring performers into triple threat powerhouses! In just one week, you’ll master the three essential skills every Broadway star needs: singing, acting, and dancing. Train with professional instructors who know what it takes to shine! Dive deep into diverse musical theatre styles and iconic numbers while building confidence, technique, and stage presence. The magic culminates in an open class on Friday evening to share what you’ve learned with family and friends.

QCT IMPROV CLUB

If you haven’t been to our FREE monthly Improv class, what are you waiting for?! This is a casual, low-stakes, drop-in event where we learn improv comedy games, play those games together, and laugh (like, A LOT). No experience, materials, or registration is necessary– just show up ready to try something new, meet some cool people, and exercise that funny bone. Even if you’re on the fence about getting on stage, come by and watch us play (trust us, you’ll want to jump in). Bring a friend! Improv Club is for adults 18 and up and meets in our Black Box Theatre. Enter through the Stage Door on Kentucky Street, unless otherwise noted.
