We have an incredibly passionate and talented community here at QCT; not only do we have students from ages 4 – 94 who are always eager to learn something new about theatre, we also have skilled volunteers with an abundance of experience to impart to the next generation. If you fall into the latter category, we invite you to join our roster of Teaching Artists!

QCT is creating a pool of Teaching Artists to facilitate classes on-site at QCT and out in the community. Teaching artists must have at least 3 years of experience in the skill that they plan to teach (professional experience recommended, but not required), must pass a background check, and must have access to their own transportation. Teaching Artist candidates will also participate in a teacher training workshop at QCT. Acceptance into the QCT Teaching Artist pool does not guarantee employment right away– we will draw from the pool each semester (Spring, Summer, and Fall) and as opportunities arise! Teaching Artists at QCT are paid a stipend for their time and expertise.

Please fill out the form below and we will be in touch! Contact Brendan Shea (brendan.shea@1qct.org) if you have any questions.

Class Schedule

QCT classes typically follow a four-week semester. Some classes meet weekly, others meet daily for a week. Still others meet only once for a longer duration as a “workshop” experience. Think about what schedule would best serve your course and its student demographic! QCT 2025 Spring Semester is February 3 – 28. QCT 2025 Summer Semester is June 30 – July 25. QCT 2025 Fall Semester is November 3 – 26.
