Meet the Cast of THE LIGHTNING THIEF

Taking the mainstage February 20-22 & 26-March 1, THE LIGHTNING THIEF launches audiences into a rock-fueled quest adapted for the stage from Rick Riordan’s bestselling novel.
When Percy Jackson learns he’s the son of Poseidon, he’s pulled into a world of gods, monsters, and quests that put both his courage and identity to the test. Accused of stealing Zeus’s lightning bolt, Percy sets out with his friends on a cross-country mission to clear his name and stop a war among the gods. With driving music, bold humor, and a scrappy, DIY theatrical style, this musical delivers a fast, fun, fan-favorite experience.
The cast bringing demigods, mentors, mortals, and monsters to life includes Matthew Zehnle as Percy, Conall Wolfmeyer as Grover, Helen Smith as Annabeth, Quinton Miller as Luke Castellan, Brielle Cole as Clarisse, Ava Kaelke as Silena, Abigail Reed as Katie, Eric Duesterhaus as Chiron, Randy Wolfmeyer as Poseidon, Mekia Gay as Mrs. Dodds, Nicholas Johnson as Ares, Meagan Connelly as Sally, Lydia Duesterhaus as Bianca, Kate Stadler as Thalia, and Aidan Hutton as Minotaur.
The creative team guiding the production includes Brendan Shea as Director, Elizabeth Mannhardt as Music Director, Brenna Phillips as Choreographer, Patrick Regner as Production Stage Manager, Hayley Wallenfeldt as Scenic Designer, J. Allen Pike as Lighting Designer, Steve Looten as Fight Choreographer, Dominic Regner as Dramaturg, and Bailey McNamar and Sam Bruening as Assistant Stage Managers.
“Rick Riordan’s beloved young adult novels carry an important message: what makes us different makes us strong,” adds director Brendan Shea. “This positively electric musical adaptation brings the gods, monsters, and unlikely heroes of Percy Jackson and the Olympians to life with infectious punk energy. Audiences of every generation will leave inspired to take on their own ‘killer quest!’”
