Fairy tales collide in Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine’s captivating musical, Into the Woods. When a baker and his wife venture into the woods to lift a witch’s curse, they collide with Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack (of beanstalk fame), and Rapunzel, each on their own quest to fulfill their deepest wish. As their stories intertwine, they must confront their deepest fears and desires, learning that every wish has a price and that sometimes the things you wish for are not what you truly need. Food Drive
As we journey INTO THE WOODS, we are reminded that no one is alone, especially when our community comes together to help one another. This holiday season, Quincy Community Theatre is partnering with Horizons Food Pantry for a Food Drive during our run of INTO THE WOODS. We invite our patrons to bring a nonperishable food item when you come to the theatre. Drop your items off in the lobby before the show, and help us spread a little magic beyond the stage. Items of greatest need are:
- Canned Vegetables
- Ramen Noodles
- Spaghetti Sauce
- Plain Rice
- Canned Fruit
- Ready-to-eat Meals (i.e. Dinty Moore)
- Canned/Powdered Milk
- Canned Meat
- Toilet Paper/Tissues
- Dish Soap

We’ve got something special for theatre lovers and fairytale fans alike! Preorders are now open for a limited edition set of four Storybook Cards created exclusively for QCT’s production of INTO THE WOODS. Each design is printed on 5×7 linen cardstock.
